SMACNA has made a commitment to protect the environment by joining Energy Star as a partner to promote superior energy performance in the commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. To preserve the environment for future generations, SMACNA believes that an organization-wide energy management approach will help enhance the financial health of organizations.

Energy Star, a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy, offers a proven energy management strategy that helps in measuring energy performance, setting goals, tracking savings, and rewarding improvements.
