Patented Re-Usable Steel Can Trough and Return Idlers Last up to Three Times Longer than Traditional Idlers

Elite Roller Manufacturing introduces patented steel can trough and return idlers which include two tapered roller bearings in each hub (four per idler) for significantly longer service life. In addition to lasting up to three times longer than traditional two-bearing designs, Elite Roller’s unique design withstands more severe applications than traditional rollers. Made with universal shafts, these proven products fit any manufacturers brackets, making them ideal for a use in mining, aggregate materials handling, power plants, or any material handling environments where conveyors and rollers are utilized.

In addition to longevity, the patented Elite design allows the re-use of the axle assembly, yielding a significant savings over replacing entire idler assemblies. Because there is no welding on the idler assembly, any damaged parts can be replaced in just minutes. Rollers can be refurbished at a fraction of the price of new ones, with 90% of the materials re-used.

Elite Rollers are available in 5”, 6”, and 7” diameters with standard shell thickness of 3/16” and 1/4”. Standard rollers include 3/4” bearings, while heavy duty rollers are equipped with 1 1/4” bearings. They are available for belt widths of 18 inches to 96 inches, with an optional polyurethane coating. An inner support tubes ensures that hubs are independent of each other for smoother operation and longer life. Stainless steel shafts are also available for corrosive applications.
