SMACNA's College of Fellows Helps Students Achieve Their Dreams

SMACNA’s College of Fellows Foundation currently administers 29 active scholarships, twenty-four at the $3,000 per year level, four at the $2,000 per year level, and one at the $1,000 per year level.

The work of the College has been ongoing for nearly 30 years and the endowment trust recently exceeded the $1 million mark, enabling the College of Fellows to help more worthy students pursue their dreams.

College of Fellows scholarships are available to undergraduate students from SMACNA’s extended family, including SMACNA contractors, employees of SMACNA contractors, SMACNA Fellows, employees of SMACNA chapters, employees of SMACNA National, SMACNA Associate Members, and members of the families of all of these groups.

To establish an endowed scholarship, SMACNA members and chapters can create a scholarship by donating $40,000 to the College of Fellows. As scholarship administrator, the College screens applicants, manages award donations, and verifies that recipients continue to meet eligibility requirements. Each endowed scholarship will award $3,000 per year over a four- year period.
